Amphorastraat

Care as a real part of the neighborhood

The nursing home at the Amphorastraat will not become a solitary building in a residential area. Rather, the care houses will present themselves as ‘ordinary’ houses becoming an integral part of the existing village’s urban tissue. Where possible the new houses will be aligned with the neighbor’s buildings. The new street completes the villages network and each house will be recognizable individually. The scale of the new buildings matches the surroundings. The service center will become the neighborhood café and the new square is for all the inhabitants of the neighborhood.
